Seasons trampled over you and me,
Leaving us breathe in a vacuum
animated with different faces, places, experiences.
Protesting against what was done,
but can’t be undone,
evading from two separating spheres, we meet.
The invisible ties get activated
and testify that
the core of you and me is alive.
Yet, different faces, new innocent smiles,
tiny hands. Big, curious eyes
stare at me from the snapshot, the sphere testimony.
I helplessly smile, you glance at my eyes
With your acceptance I spy
into the life that could have been mine.
